Un consortium emmené par Total remporte un permis d'exploration en Egypte

PARIS (Reuters) - Un consortium emmené par Total (PA:) a remporté un contrat d'exploration et de production pour le block offshore de North Ras Kanayis du bassin d’Hérodote, en mer Méditerranée, en Egypte, annonce un communiqué publié lundi.

"Ce bloc de prospection, d’une superficie de 4.550 km² et distant de 5 à 150 km des côtes, se situe par des profondeurs d’eau entre 50 et 3.200 m", dit ce communiqué.
